Grass Roots Ministries is a non-profit charitable organization based out of First United Methodist Church in New Carlisle, Ohio.  We are a multi-denominational group of volunteers whose faith mission is to offer aid and comfort to improve the lives of orphans and those in need within the nation of Tanzania through a variety of programs in partnership with local and international communities.  One such partnership is with Methodist Angel House Orphanage Home Trust of Tanzania and one of its founders, Christopher Ryoba Kangoye.  

 

We started with 27 orphans in December 2004 and are currently meeting the needs of over 40 orphans.  Through the efforts of this partnership, everyday life has improved for the children and they now have hope for their future.
